Many people are choosing to omit dairy from their diet. So here's a great snack recipe with no need to add cheese. Find out how to make your own 'Cheesy' Kale Crisps here:

Ingredients

Bundle of kale

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp nutritional yeast

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 300 F and line your baking sheet(s) with parchment paper.

Trim your kale into 1” pieces (you can cut or tear it).

Make sure to remove the thick stem in the centre of each leaf.

In a bowl, pour your olive oil over the top and toss the kale to coat it.

Spread it on the baking sheet with as much space between each leaf as you can (try to not overlap).

Let your little one help you sprinkle nutritional yeast on top! You can add more or less defending on preference. Nutritional yeast gives a nice cheese flavor while being vegan and a great source of nutrients.

Place your tray in the oven for 15 minutes or so. These 'Cheesy' kale crisps burn easily so keep a close eye. After you take them out, let them cool to finish crisping up.

Enjoy!
